Acting on Recommendations
Each recommendation result has a status that tracks where it sits in your team's review process. Your status choices are never overwritten when CloudCtrl refreshes recommendations — your work is always preserved.
Statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Active | Visible in the recommendations list and counted in your savings total. |
| Snoozed | Temporarily hidden. You can un-snooze it at any time to bring it back. |
| Dismissed | Permanently suppressed. Excluded from your savings total. |
| Completed | You've implemented the recommendation. Excluded from your savings total. |
Snoozing a recommendation
Use Snooze when you want to hide a recommendation for now but don't want to dismiss it permanently — for example, if you plan to revisit it next quarter. Snoozed items can be un-snoozed at any time.
Dismissing a recommendation
Use Dismiss when the recommendation isn't relevant to you. You'll be asked to choose a reason:
- Already planned
- Performance risk too high
- Provisioned intentionally
- Commitment purchased
- Will address next sprint
- Not applicable
- Other
You can also add an optional comment to give your team more context.
Marking a recommendation as completed
Use Complete when you've finished implementing the recommendation. CloudCtrl records who marked it complete and when.
Bulk actions
You can dismiss or complete multiple recommendations at once. See Bulk actions & export.
